Sunday 1st May 2022

Today we headed south taking on diesel along the way. We stopped for the day next to a fishing lake at Pouzol in the Massive Central. Here's the view from the side door of our van.

It was a lovely sunny day. Ann got her chair out.

This is a really lovely place.

Apart from us there were only a few fishing persons here when we arrived.

Fairly soon after we arrived a British couple by the names of Mary and John turned up. They live in in France, a bit south of here, and are on the way to visit relatives in Britain. We had a good chat with them.

We walked around the lake.

There are lots of Marsh Marigolds here.

We came upon a small pond next to the lake which contained a load of very noisy frogs.

The lake is surrounded by wood on one side and fields on the other.

The van on the right belongs to Mary and John. The one in the middle belongs to two French fishing people who left before nightfall.

Today we travelled 85 miles (137 kilometres). We are at: N46.0592 E2.9907
