I hope I'm looking disappointed! I went to see the doctor this morning complaining about a small spot which won't go away only to be told to take antibiotics, come back and see him in a week and if it's not cleared up to be referred to the dermatologist! Managed to rearrange ferry crossing for two weeks time at no extra cost - just hope we'll be able to finally get going then.

Great excitement today! New neighbours are moving in next door.

Their house has been empty since April 2015. Good to see it occupied again after all that time. Welcome Howard and Jill.

While on the subject of vans - ours is packed up and ready to go. We're off tomorrow!

It's all been happening here! Our other neighbours Steve and Margaret have just got back from their hols in Cyprus and gave us this nice bottle in recognition of Ann's hard work looking after their cats and birds while they were away. This wasn't part of the deal as they always keep an eye on our house and empty our post box while we're away so it was supposed to be a reciprocal arrangement! Many thanks anyway Steve and Margaret.

Things are looking quite autumnal here on Dartmoor. We're starting to load the van and prepare to head off south.
