 We had to abandon our last trip in November when the windscreen wipers and headlights on our van stopped working. Also we had to wait a long time for a date when we could take the van for repair and we finally got it into the garage on 9th February. The problem was diagnosed as a faulty body control module. Unfortunately Fiat no longer manufacture this part, but the garage found a second hand one on ebay in Latvia! This then got stuck in Customs adding to the delay. When the part arrived it had to be sent of to a specialist along with the old part so their software could be cloned. The van also needed work on the brakes to get through the MOT but it was finally able to come home on 27th April - 11 weeks after it first went for repair!

Today we're loading up the van and plan to set off in a day or two!
