While we were at Glenmalure Lodge we saw the woman who lives in this green van parked in the field below the pub car park a few times. She is of very eccentric appearance with a wide brimmed hat and large floppy boots! I think she has some association with the pub as I saw her going round the back.

Today we travelled south east to the coast and stopped to do our clothes washing and to buy groceries at the big Tesco supermarket in Arklow.

We moved on south down the east coast of Ireland crossing from County Wicklow into County Wexford. We stopped for the day at the village of Cahore. We are parked by the pier. Here's a view from our van.

Here's another view from our parking place, this time looking towards the pier.

Just behind us there is a pub. The grass bank leading up to it was being strimmed today - a bit of a racket.

We took a walk down to the end of the pier where we found this old rusty bollard.

There are some big mooring rings.

We took a walk along the coast path. Here's the view back to our parking place.

Looking down on the pier from the coast path.

The are lots of the agave? plants growing along the path.

We passed this large castellated house.

Before we turned back to return to Cahore we could see this beautiful beach stretching south as far as the eye could see.

We saw this strange little structure on the coast path.

Back at the van the strimming had almost finished and quietness was eventually restored.

Today we travelled 40 miles (64 kilometres). We are at:N52.5691 W6.2025
