Sunday 7th November 2021

This morning we travelled north to the Port of Cherbourg.

There are several places you can get a boat to from here. This check in office is a bit misleading - there are no sailings to Poole till March 2022!

Portsmouth could be a possibility?

I'm not sure where Stena Line go from here. I could look it up on the web.

And there is Irish Ferries - I'm sure they go to some nice places.

We wandered over to the terminal building. There's a sign by where we are parked saying that there are all kinds of things available in here. However when we got there it was in the process of refurbishment and the only thing you can buy is a ferry ticket.

Today we travelled 66 miles (106 kilometres). We are at: N49.6436 W1.6046

Hope St. George’s Channel doesn’t prove too rough this time of year!

This ship (WB Yeats) is amazing. It doesn't roll or pitch at all even though the sea is rough!
