Thursday 4th November 2021

This morning we travelled north through the remainder of the Medoc where we did actually see a couple of vineyards. We got to the ferry terminal for crossing the Gironde estuary at about 11.00.

From here you can see the town of Royon, where we are heading, on the north side of the estuary.

The ferry arrived we were loaded on and it left on time at 12.00 and after half an hour we drove of in Royon and were on our way north again.

Ann took this photo while we were crossing an impressive bridge near Rochefort.

We stopped for the day at the town of Marans. We are at their aire de camping cars. It is next to a canal with boats moored. Here's the view from the side door of our van,

Ann took a walk and took some pics. This bridge is very close to our parking place.

The country is very flat around here.

Dusk was approaching as she got back to the van.

Today we travelled 101 miles (163 kilometres). We are at: N46.3137 W1.0025
