Today we travelled north to Biscarrosse Plage stopping off to do a supermarket shop. We are parked at the aire de camping cars in a pine forest close to the beach.
There are numerous fungi growing under the pines.
When the sun comes out there is a nice dappled light. This is the view out of the side door of our van.
A couple of pigeons came to visit. Ann gave them some bread.
We got our bikes out and took a ride along the nearby cycle path.
Later on we walked to the beach.
The dunes here are fenced off to protect the fragile vegetation,
It was quite windy at the beach.
Ann looks a bit wind blown.
There were some big waves.
It's been one of those days when it's sunny one moment and raining the next.
