The weather wasn't too good today. We visited the chambered tomb of Cairn du Petit Mont or should I say Ann did as I'm not too keen about going into such places!

Ann said it was quite dark inside the neolithic burial chambers.

This is the main entrance. It is quite reminiscent of the monument known as New Grange in Ireland. It appears to have been substantially reconstructed in modern times.

The monument is at the tip of a peninsula jutting out into the Atlantic close to the entrance of the Gulf of Morbihan.

Ann went into some more of the burial chambers. What did the carved feet here signify?

This is the back of the monument.

We moved on the short distance to the village of Brillac where there is dedicated campervan parking. It costs 5.55 euros a night to stay here and someone from the Council duly came round to collect the money. It rained all evening so we haven't been out yet to explore the village.

Today we travelled 32 miles (52 kilometres). We are at N47.54153 W2.81759
