This morning before leaving the aire at Cameret we talked to a couple of vanners who run a static caravan site near Oswestry. After buying a loaf of bread in Cameret we moved the short distance south to the Cap de la Chevre (The Cape of Goats) where we parked for the day.

There is a military installation here on the Cape with lots of signs saying that it is forbidden to photograph it. I took this picture before I saw the signs!

This is a special and protected place.

Nearby there is a military memorial.

We took a walk around the cape. As you can see it's a popular place.

The cliffs are high here with marvellous views down to the sea.

There is a place reserved for people who want to pile rocks on top of one another!

Back at the van Ann got her chair out.

Later on the police came round and asked me to take the van off the levelling ramps (seen here still deployed). Of course I complied immediately! They could probably have fined me on the spot if they had wanted to. Camping is not allowed here but parking is for up to 24 hours. Presumably the use of levelling ramps falls within the definition of Camping!?

Today we travelled 14 miles (23 kilometres). We are at N48.17227 W4.55077
