Saturday 22nd June 2019

This morning after stopping briefly to buy supplies in Crozon we moved on east to the summit of Menez Hom 333 metres, the highest point in Brittany!

Here's Ann at the top.

There were brilliant views in all directions.

We moved on further east and after failing to find yet another megalithic monument we stopped for the day at the aire de camping cars in Huelgoat.

We are parked next to a couple from New Zealand who have stickers on their van to make their nationality clear to anyone who cares to notice.

We got our bikes out and took a ride around the lake.

Anglers are reminded that catches are strictly limited 3 trout, 2 pike and all carp to be put back!

There is a nice cycle track along the lake side.

Ann reckons these were done by children. I reckon they're rubbish.

We chained our bikes to a metal post and had a walk around town. This is the Hotel du Lac.

Here's the church.

This is the main square.

The lake is very pretty.

A river drains out of the lake through these enormous boulders.

We saw these swans on the lake.

Back at our parking place we are next to a river which flows into the lake which is also frequented by swans.

The municipal campsite is just over the river from where we are parked.

Today we travelled 61 miles (98 kilometres). We are at N48.36018 W3.75719
