Thursday 13th June 2019

This morning it had just about stopped raining at our overnight stop.

There is an interesting tri-lingual interpretive sign in the car park (French, Breton and English).

We moved on to the town of Hennebont - (Hen Bont means Old Bridge) in Welsh and Breton - and parked by the river. The town has some old walls.

We got our bikes out and took a ride along the riverside cycle path.

The river is tidal as far as Hennebont. Upstream there are weirs and locks to maintain navigability (having said that we haven't seen any boats going up or down).

We cycled about a 12 kilometre round trip.

There are plenty of seats along the way.

Ann spotted this Roe Deer on the far bank of the river on our way back to town.

All the signs along the cycle track are bi lingual (French and Breton).

It's getting dark now. Here's the view across the river through the windscreen of our van.

Today we travelled 28 miles (45 kilometres). We are at N47.80651 W3.28121
