This morning we visited "The Devil's Table" a megalithic passage tomb.

The stones would have originally been covered by an earth mound which is for whatever reason no longer there.

This is the first prehistoric monument which we have come across in Normandy!

We moved on west to the town of Mortain and took on water at the aire de camping cars.

We walked into town. There was a small market in progress. We bought some bread.

We walked down towards the river. The remains of the now demolished castle can be seen from here.

There is a fine rock pinnacle here.

It's a fine feature. Very popular with climbers.

We wandered up to this rather halfhearted waterfall. Unfortunately on the way Ann fell over and hurt her wrist.

We walked back into town. On the way we saw these goats.

We moved on west to the Aire at Ardevon. From here you can see Mont St Michel.

This is a very regimented place. Very unlike most of the places we spend the night. It costs 11.50 euros for 24 hours including electricity but the cheeky buggers then charge you an extra 3 euros if you want some water! We are parked next to a UKGBNI flag!?

I saw this brilliant logo on the side of a french registered van parked near us tonight. We are hoping to watch the European Cup Final between Liverpool and Spurs later this evening. The "free" camp wifi is nowhere good enough to support live TV so I guess we'll just have to use up loads of our data sim's remaining allowance!

P.S. The European Cup Final was a pretty boring match. Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 and we used up 1.7 Gb of data for the privilege!

Here's some idea of what this place is like. Our van is on the far right.

Today we travelled 63 miles (101 kilometres). We are at N48.60344 W1.47739
