Over night there was a German fire engine parked next to us at Pont Aven. It's being used as a camper van. Note the bicycles on top.

We hoped to visit the old walled town of Concarneau perched on an island and connected to the mainland by a bridge. However when we arrived there was some kind of a festival going on, there was nowhere to park and it was raining so we moved on. We stopped for the day at Fouesnant where there is some dedicated camper van parking at the beach. The van to the left of ours has various stickers on it proclaiming its occupants to be Australian.

We ventured out the 100 metres or so to the beach.

It was blowing a houly.

We retreated back behind the dunes pretty damn quick.

Later when the weather seemed a bit calmer we got our bikes out and took a ride along the coastal cycle path.

It was all going really nicely.

Then there was a torrential downpour accompanied by high winds. We got soaked on our way back to our van.

Today we travelled 22 miles (35 kilometres). We are at N47.85106 W4.04577
