Sunday 16th June 2019
The weather was much better today. We did a supermarket shop, launderette and serviced the van. We moved on west to the district of Penmarch and parked close to the La Torche Peninsula.
This is a surfing place.
There were some nice big waves coming in today.
On the headland there is the remains of a megalithic tomb.
There are flowers everywhere on the dunes.
There is a nice beach type restaurant within easy walking distance from our parking place. Ann had hamburger and chips, I had fish soup.......
.....and scallops in Breton sauce.
Ann had strawberry Melba. All this was washed down with a nice bottle of Muscadet.
Back at our van dusk was approaching. Here's the view out of the sliding door on the side.
There was a nice sunset.
Today we travelled 40 miles (64 kilometres). We are at N47.83761 W4.34080
