You really would find it hard to imagine how vile the weather has been for most of today. Storm force winds and frequent torrential showers. Before leaving Redon we did a launderette and supermarket shop. We came on to Piriac Sur Mer on the south coast of Brittany and stopped for the day at the temporary aire de camping cars seen here (the permanent aire is being refurbished).
We walked into the village.

There are some picturesque streets.
The harbour is quite extensive.
The place is very attractive but today with high winds and frequent showers we were quite glad to get back to the shelter of our van.
Here's the view out of the side of our van. What the picture doesn't convey is the way the leaves on the trees are being violently blown around.
