We travelled south today. We stopped on a pass after going through forests for a long way.
Some German soldiers are buried here having been killed in a WW2 battle in 1940.
We stopped to buy bread, beer etc and later on for Ann to have a sleep. Broom is in flower everywhere around these parts.
We stopped for the day at the Aire at the village of Ventron in Alsace.
The village is surrounded by wooded hills.
Ann had a brief outing on her mobility scooter.
A little stream runs along the side of the Aire.
We bought some pink Belgian beer the other day. It's sweet and tastes a bit like Ribena!
The village church has quite a distinctive tower.
We travelled 80 miles (129 kilometres) today. We are at: N47.9389 E6.8688
