We had great difficulty starting the van from cold this morning. Nothing new really, however this time I think the electrics are playing up in a really big way! There is an orange engine management warning light constantly on, the coolant temperature gauge is either working or not working and the engine cooling fan is often on even when the engine is cold. Bloody lousy Fiat electrics! Before leaving Montreux-Chateau we bought a few things at the local supermarket and then headed south into Switzerland. Here's what would have been the Swiss Customs building in pre Schengen days.

We stopped a a free service point in the town of Saignelegier to service the van. These metal horses are just by the service point. Thanks to the town for providing free water etc.

We moved on about 5 kilometres west to this beautiful parking area in a forest. We had previously stayed here on 24th October 2018.

It looks like you're supposed to pay 25 swiss francs a night to stay here. I'm not sure how you're supposed to do this?!

We did some van cleaning.

We went for a walk in the forest.

There are plenty of stumps to rest on.

I'm a bit wary of the sun these days having had skin cancer twice!

You're only supposed to park on one side of the road.

There are lots of flowers in the forest at this time of year.

Later on we were visited by lots of cows and briefly by a deer. There are five other vans here tonight.

Today we travelled 44 miles (71 kilometres). We are at: N47.2502 E7.0597
