Nice fine morning today. Serviced the van before leaving Aspres sur Buech. Stopped along the way to do a supermarket shop and our laundry at this facility at the supermarket.

We travelled south west through some spectacular countryside.

Ann took this through the van windscreen while we were negotiating a particularly hairy bit of road!

We stopped for the day at the Aire at Montbrun les Bains. Here's the view from the side of our van. We previously stayed here on 10th May 2022, almost exactly 3 years ago, here's what we posted then: 10.5.22

We have a bench.

I tried to encourage Ann to get on her wheels and come into town, but she was having none of it so we spent the rest of the day at the very pleasant Aire, Ann cooked chicken stew for our tea followed by strawberries.

What's this bird? It's like a wagtail but not quite like the ones we are used to seeing in Devon.
