Before leaving the Aire at Langreo I just couldn't resist photographing this fantastic road sign: "No parking except for Campervans" Maybe one day in Britain The Authorities will at last realise that we campervaners are not just suitable people to be excluded and discriminated against but members of society who make a contribution to the economies of the  local communities we visit.

We headed west. Unusually for us we took to the (free) Spanish motorways to clear the large city of Oviedo . When we reached the town of Grado we left the motorway and headed south. We stopped to look at these rock formations.

We stopped for the day at the town of Cangas Del Narcea and parked by the river. This bridge apparently dates back to the Roman Era.

Just downstream from our parking place there is a weir.

The locals are hanging out their washing.

This footbridge crosses the river towards the town centre.

I took a walk into town. There are lots of steep little streets and stairways.

Encouraged by Andy (online) I bought some local cheese.

They take the lives of the local fishes around here seriously!

Fantastic cheese!

Today we travelled 74 miles (119 kilometres). We are at: N43.1758 W6.5519
