We travelled north west today. Soon after leaving Ona we stopped to take in the views where the river Ebro goes through a spectacular gorge.

The river looked a bit murky.

We saw this rock with a hole in it.

Just down from the rock with the hole is this nice pinnacle.

After stopping to do a supermarket shop we moved on and stopped for the day at the Aire at Poblacion next to this enormous reservoir created by damming the river Ebro. Here's the view from our van.

There are plenty of free range cattle about.

The reservoir is only at about 26% capacity at this time of year. The water abstracted is mainly used for crop irrigation.

We walked over the nearby bridge.

The ornithological centre is just the other side of the bridge.

Here is an exhibition of photographs of local birds.

There is some good interpretive stuff here but it was a bit difficult to follow not being able to read Spanish.

There is a very large German registered motorhome sharing the Aire with us. I assume the trailer behind it is used to tow the little car parked in front.

The local cows went down to the reservoir to graze and drink but were later herded back up into a field by the farmer.

Today we travelled 51 miles (82 kilometres). We are at: N43.0336 W3.9529
