Sunday 9th October 2022

Today, after doing a minor grocery shop, we travelled south to the village of Foussaias-Payre. We are at The Aire de Camping Car. On one side is the Town Hall.....

.... and on the other side there is a wooden sculpture park.

There is a wooden sculpture competition held here every year.

The winning entries are put on display, either in the sculpture park......

 .....or around the village.

These tree huggers are in the Aire.

This is the village square.

There are some sculptured wooden benches in the square.

Here's the church door.

The church is quite enormous for such a small community.

Inside the church you get a good idea of the scale of the place.

This afternoon there seemed to be some guided tours of the sculpture park taking place.

This evening the moon is coming up from behind the trees on the other side of the sculpture park.

A Harvest Moon maybe?

It certainly appears very large!

Today we travelled 45 miles (72 kilometres). We are at: N46.5296 W0.6817

Great photo. Sraddhabha says it was a Hunter's moon.

Sounds about right. It's a bit late in the year for harvesting.
