Shortly after leaving St Eloy we made a brief detour down a track through the woods to visit this menhir.

We briefly visited the off season ski resort of Le Mont Dore. 

We moved on to the small town of Murol where we had this great view of the castle from our overnight parking place.

The church at Murol has a menhir standing outside. Possibly not of Palaeolithic or Neolithic vintage.

The town has a number of shops selling local produce - ham - liqueurs - but most importantly round here cheese. Today we travelled 80 miles (129 kilometres).
