Monday 19th October

This morning just as we were getting ready for breakfast at our overnight parking place at the Natural Park car park we were approached by a Park functionary who informed us that camping was not allowed here!

Later as we were leaving we saw this deer however I think it might have been a tame one.

The road south west from the Park visitor centre climbed high into the mountains and we got some good views back to the wooded valley where we had been.

As we descended from the mountains we saw below us a vast area of olive cultivation which went on for as far as the eye could see.

We travelled west for a couple of hours through continuous olive plantations. The demand for olive oil worldwide must be absolutely enormous to require all of these trees.

At the end of a very long journey of 134 miles (216 kilometres) we reached the town of Priego de Cordoba and parked at the town Aire. There was a sign at the entrance saying no entry except for campervans.

We were hassled for the second time in one day! This is undoubtedly a record. A local driving instructor tried to get us to move our van so he could set up an obstacle course for his trainee motorbike riders. We refused to move and he set up his obstacle course. A draw maybe?

It's dark now and the motorbike tuition has packed up and left.
