Sunday 11th October

After leaving Martinet we travelled west through Le Seu d'Urgell then south west and back north west to the town of Tremp.

There was marvellous scenery all along the way. Martinet to Tremp was quite a longish trip - 94 miles (151 kilometres).

We had a walk around Tremp.

There are a couple of trees in the main square in town growing these rather strange fruit. Has anyone any idea what they're called?

The church was locked - maybe it's only open on weekdays and Saturdays?

We found this millstone apparently incorporated into some public art?

We visited a Tapas Bar and had prawns in garlic and chilli sauce and potatoes in tomato and chilli sauce. Saw these graffiti/murals on the way back to our van.

We are staying at the town's Aire tonight. It is quite crowded. I think most vanners are like sheep - herd animals - possibly afraid of being alone and also possibly frightened of the dark.
