Saturday 17th October

Before leaving Jalance this morning we spoke to a British vanner who lives in Spain and two Danish vanners. Moved on south to the town of Almansa where we bought groceries. Then turned west and travelled over vast nondescript plains before arriving in the town of Hellin where we stopped briefly for a brew. Moved on west into mountainous country where we passed this amazing rock tower.

We found a really nice place by a stream well off the main road to park for the night - here's our view. We had made a fairly long journey today of 116 miles (187 kilometres). From where we we're parked we walked into the nearby village of Mesones where there are two restaurants and a (closed) campsite.
