Today we did some travelling in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We stopped for a cup of tea near this small town.

We could see the big mountains in the distance.

We made another stop on a 1000 metre high pass.

There were fine views from up here.

Again we could see the big peaks,

We have stopped for the day at the aire de camping cars in the town of Castelnau-Durban. The aire is very pleasant - shaded by plane trees and with a small river running by. The only downside is that it is by a busy main road with lorries passing quite often.

The local bread and cake shop is closed today and the local restaurant is only open at lunch time. It's that kind of a town!
