This morning after going into Quillan and emptying our waste tanks we travelled south through the gorges of the River Aude.

The gorges are very impressive indeed.

We stopped here along the way for a cup of tea. Some vanners from the Netherlands arrived and had a picnic.

We spent a couple of hours in the small mountain town of Formigueres. Here's it's church.

Inside the church is quite ornate.

We bought a baguette.

We have stopped for the day at the out of season ski resort of Les Angles - at their aire de camping cars. You can see the vehicles of some itinerant people in the background.  They have quite a few dogs which run wild all over the aire!

This is the stunning view out of the side door of our van.

Today we travelled 53 miles (85 kilometres). We are at: N42.5632 E2.0683

Missing Andorra then? It does look as if you are heading for Spain, but not the same bit as us!

Hi Andy, We're heading for the Med, then crossing to Spain and heading west through the Spanish Pyrenees. Who knows we might meet up before too long?
