Sunday 12th November 2017

It was wet yet again this morning. We serviced the van before leaving Blois crossing over the Loire on this bridge and heading south east.

Our journey took us on mainly minor roads through forested country. We saw many hunters with guns all dressed in day-glow outfits presumably to try to stop them shooting each other. We stopped for the day at the Aire in the town of Mehun sur Yevre. The Aire is in a Plane grove next to the canal. Here's the view from our van.

There are lots of ducks swimming up and down the canal. It is very wet and windy this afternoon. We are staying inside the van for now.

Eventually the rain eased off and we took a walk around town.

There are islands in the river linked by foot bridges to form a really nice "water park".

There is a ruined Chateau.

This is the Yevre taken from the main bridge in town.

View along the canal towards the Aire - you can see our van.

Today we traveled 67 miles (108 kilometres). We are at: N47.14418 E2.21013
