This morning was cold again but not as cold as yesterday. We headed south and stopped at Roussillon to do a grocery shop and at Chanas to take on LPG. We had used 28 litres of gas since leaving Devon over a period of 10 days which shows we had needed to have the central heating on a lot. (Water heating, cooking and running the fridge uses very little gas - central heating uses a lot). We stopped for the day at the Aire in Saint Jean en Royans. Here's the view we had walking up towards the town centre from our parking place.

Here's the town square.

The inside of the church is a bit ordinary.

However the church does have an interesting tower.

Here's another view of the town square - this time from the church front.

We took a walk along the river which flows by the town.

We are sharing the Aire tonight with an old clapped out van which doesn't appear to have gone anywhere else for a very long time. I don't think that there is anyone living in there now but there is possibly someone inside who has died!? The local police seem to share my concern as they came round and looked in through the van windows, shook their heads and got back in their car and drove off.

Today we traveled 58 miles (93 kilometres). We are at N45.02059 E5.29036
