We topped up the fresh water tanks at the harbour before leaving Barretalli. The road north was quite sensational. We passed this impressive rocky pinnacle.

Ther are some marvelous views along the way. We stopped at what must be the only supermarket for many kilometres and talked to a Frenchman who was originally from Annecy, had worked in Cardiff and learnt English by listening to the Rolling Stones!

We stopped for the day at the village of Tollare which is at the northern end of Cap Corse. Here's the view from the sliding door on the side of our van.

Here's the village. It was all very quiet.

We took a walk eastwards along the coastal path.

Here's the view looking back to Tollare - you can see our van on the left side of the picture.

The geology is amazingly diverse around here with lots of different coloured rocks.

We walked as far as the next village along the coast. It was very quiet too.

We retraced our steps to Tollare. We watched a man snorkeling. I think he caught a lobster. It is very very windy tonight. The wind is coming from the south so it is blowing from the land out to sea. If it was the other way round I think we would need to move our van quite a way inland!

Today we traveled 22 miles (35 kilometres). We are at N43.00734 E9.38849
