We thought that the mice problem in our van had been resolved however this morning when when I went into the van I found mouse number ten dead in one of the traps.

We left Widecombe at about mid day and then stopped off at Bridport in Dorset to visit our friends Joe and Jenny. They have recently moved there from East Devon. Joe is one of my very oldest friends - I went to school with him in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Here they are in their very nice new (oldish) house.

We arrived at Poole ferry terminal at about 16.30 just as it was getting dark. There were no other vehicles here when we arrived but since then several other camper vans have arrived. We are booked onto the 8.30 sailing to Cherbourg tomorrow morning.

Today we traveled 108 miles (174 kilometres). We are at N50.70999 W1.99599
