Sunday 19th November 2017

Very cold in the night -4C. Set off south stopping off to take on water at Misou les Armands and stopping to photograph the church at Sisteron seen here.

We moved on to Digne les Bains - a decaying spa town - and parked next to the Thermal  Treatment Centre. Here's the view from where we parked.

It all seemed a bit closed.

The water coming out of the source was quite warm - it was steaming in the cold air.

There was a tariff for the different thermal treatments available pinned up outside. You can check it out on social media!

We moved on to the town Aire close by the Museum of Alexandra David-Neel the famous woman explorer of Tibet in the early 20th Century. Ann visited the museum while I idled away a couple of hours in the van. Here is AD-N dressed up as a Tibetan - the only way she could get there at that time as they were not allowing foreigners in.

Here's a view from the Aire at Digne les Bains.

There was some nice light in the sky as the sun went down.

Today we traveled 43 miles (69 kilometres). We are at N44.08262 E6.22147
