As we had good access to water at St Jean en Royans we had showers this morning before setting off. We soon passed through this spectacular limestone gorge.

As we traveled we gained altitude and the landscape became more and more snowy. Ann saw a wild pig along the way.

We reached the Col du Rousset at 1254 metres. You can see the cloud inversion which we came up through.

We stopped at a small layby on the descent from the col where there were some really marvelous views.

The clouds were bubbling up from below.

We were reluctant to move on.

We stopped for the day at the town of Die which wasn't really a town to die for if you'll pardon the "joke". Here's the back of the Cathedral of Notre Dame.

Here is the interior of the Cathedral.

And finally here's the front!

I watched these old geezers playing boule while Ann was in the Tourist Office. We are parked in the area reserved for camper vans. The local police are supposed to come round and collect 5 euros parking fee for the night.

Today we traveled 41 miles (66 kilometres). We are at N44.75106 E5.37342
