Another nasty cold wet day. We headed back west on E6, then south on routes 893/971 and soon crossed from Norway into Finland.

We traveled through extensive pine forests interspersed with frozen lakes.

We reached the E75 and turned left. We stopped at Inari to visit the excellent Sami Museum, pictured here and to take on diesel.

Inari seemed like unfriendly territory with numerous no overnight parking signs so we moved on a few kilometres south to this brilliant lay-by next to a semi frozen lake in the forest. Here's the view from our van,
