Sunday 13th November 2022

This morning we moved a little south into the park to watch waves and surfers.

A little further  south still we stopped on the clifftop next to this rock with a hole.

There are signs here warning of caution when parking.

We retraced our steps north and went into Sines to do a supermarket shop. Then we travelled eastwards.

We passed through a wild and remote area where there were signs advising us to be careful not to run over Lynxes!

We stopped for the day at the village of Mina De Sao Domingos. Here's the view from the side door of our van.

There was a beautiful sunset. Today the milometer of our van registered over 100,000 miles! That's an average of  just over 7000 a year since we bought it in December 2008.

Today we travelled 117 miles (188 kilometres). We are at: N37.6751 W7.5027

The mines are very interesting if you have time for a walk. British capitalism at work in Portugal. There's an acid filled quarry pH 2-3. Also the praia fluvial on the other lake is good for a no waves swim! I didn't dare go in the Atlantic in Portugal either.

The best sunset picture yet on your Blog Roger, in my opinion.
