Very early start this morning. Woken up by vehicles moving around the ferry terminal car park at about 6.30. On the ferry by about 8.00 and left port soon after. Here's Ann after she'd finished her large cooked breakfast and wondering what to do next.

We arrived at Cherbourg about 13.00. Nasty rainy windy weather. We are now at Gavray - a small town in Normandy about 100 kilometres south of Cherbourg. It's getting dark now and it's still raining.
