Today we visited a replica of the famous Lascaux cave close to Montignac. As you can see from the replica cave rules, photography is not allowed, but I'm sure if you google Lascaux you will find many images of the amazing 17,000 year old rock art in the cave. The replica cave visit did not disappoint with stunning paintings of bulls, bison, horses, cows and deer on the walls of the very accurately reproduced cave.

After the cave visit we travelled south to the town of Cahors where we are tonight parked by the river Lot. It rained all day and was quite misty at times.
