We're getting ready to leave home.

We've loaded up the van.

There are a pair of wood pigeons nesting in the cherry tree which overhangs the van,

The trout which live in the little river which runs past our house still seem to be in hibernation.

The grey squirrels are however up and about in our garden.

This male pheasant is in our garden most of the time at present. It's a very noisy bird!

There are also a couple of small rabbits feeding on our lawn. We've seen quite a few deer in the wetland next to our garden in the last few days. It's hard to leave with all this going on.
