This morning we had a nice short journey down to Poole Ferry Terminal. Here we are lined up waiting to check in.

Our ferry soon arrived and we left on time at 13.45.

We had lunch on the ship. It seems to have had a soporific effect on Ann.

 

We arrived in Cherbourg at 19.15 local time and made our way west to this really delightful parking place at Auderville from where we can see the Channel Islands and this lighthouse. The van has started making horrendous noises from the front right wheel whenever the brakes are applied. We'll call out our breakdown service in the morning and get them to come and look at it.
