It was a beautiful sunny morning at Cerisy. Before leaving we tried to take on water from the Aire's service point which cost 2 euros. After we'd put our money in we realised that there was insufficient water pressure to fill a saucepan in 15 minutes! We moved on east to the Aire at Clecy where we found that we needed a "jeton" to access the water supply. Be bought one from the bakery in the village and filled our fresh water tank. We turned our noses up at the Aire for an overnight stay and moved on to this picnic area on the Route Des Cretes where we stopped for the day.

We took a walk up the Route Des Cretes.

We found a marvellous viewpoint where we could see down into the valley of the River Orne. The village you can see is Clecy.

Here's a telephoto pic of the Aire de Camping Cars in Clecy which we turned our noses up at. The final place on the left which we could have had is now taken!

There is a launching ramp for hang gliders and and para gliders here.

We followed a small path along the cliff edge for a while.

Back at our overnight parking place we are on the lookout for wildlife. So far we've seen pheasants, rabbits, crows and a buzzard. We've put out some stale bread pieces but as yet there are no takers.

Today we travelled 41 miles (66 kilometres). We are at N48.93356 W0.47643
