Today we briefly visited the town of Silkebourg - resting place of the famous 2500 year old human sacrifice found preserved in a bog and known today as Tollund Man. Unfortunately the museum at Silkebourg is now charging an extortionate amount to see TM so we gave him a miss as we'd seen him before. However the main purpose of our visit here was to buy a replacement part for our van toilet. The part in question had apparently been chewed by a mouse! Here's the view from our parking place in Silkebourg.

After fitting the replacement part we moved on to Jegindo Havn, a small harbour set on a promontory in a huge fjord or inland sea. Here's the view from our parking place. The statue is part of the excellent but very low key fishing museum which is free to visit.

The museum is housed in old fishing persons' huts. Unlike in Norway where these are always painted dark red, here in Denmark they are painted light blue
.

Inside the huts there are loads of artifacts from the fishing trade of old. Unfortunately for us the written stuff is only in Danish with the odd German translation so we couldn't understand much of it.

This is a really nice place to stay if a bit pricey - we got charged 110 DKK to park here overnight - about £12. We went out for a meal in the harbour cafe - Ann had cheeseburger and chips - I had fresh local fish with prawns, fish roe etc. Very nice.

Today we traveled 115 miles (185 kilometres). We are at N56.65282 E8.63688
