Today we traveled through some truly amazing countryside. Firstly north on route 9 through deep valleys cut by glaciers in the last ice age.

We did a grocery shop and stopped for a while by this beautiful river to recover from the shock of the grocery prices. Lets hope Norway's non EU membership isn't a sign of what's to come price wise in Britain!

Later on route 9 took us up onto a high plateau at nearly 1000 metres above sea level with snow and frozen lakes.

We descended to the town of Edland where we turned west onto the E134 which took us up to another high plateau well over 1000 metres above sea level. We stopped for the day in this sensational parking place next to a giant snow drift and surrounded by high barren snow covered hills.

We traveled 129 miles (208 kilometres) today. We are at N59.85080 E7.10616
