Sunday 14th May 2017

It rained quite a lot in the night but there seemed to be just as much snow left around our parking place in the morning. We traveled to Roldal where we saw this very adulterated Stave Church and serviced the van at a deserted campsite.

Also at Roldal we saw these people wearing "traditional" Norwegian dress.

We turned north onto route 13 stopping to look at this stupendous waterfall.

Actually there is another one right next to it which is just as good!

We traveled north up the east bank of Sorfjiorden. This fjord is tidal but was so still that the reflections could be seen really well.

After stopping briefly at Kinsarvik we crossed over the Eidfjord by way of a tunnel, a bridge and then a very long tunnel. This is a toll road and as our van is registered with the Norwegian highways authority the toll will be deducted from my credit card following their system recognising our number plate - scary!

We stopped for the day in Voss. We found an LPG automat and filled up our gas tanks. We parked in the centre of town next to this old church.

In the other direction we have a good lake and mountain view from our parking place.

Today we traveled 103 miles (166 kilometres). We are at N60.62829 E6.41694
