Today we traveled north east through Germany. It rained for most of the day. We stopped at the town of Hude which is definitely what you might describe as a one horse town. The aire is presently partly occupied by a breast cancer screening unit. The Swedish van you see on the left turned up briefly but turned their noses up at the place and moved on.

At least the facilities work here. Waste water and sewage disposal is free. Fresh water costs 1 euro for a tank full and staying overnight costs 5 euros. Electricity is extra.

We took a walk around town. The most exciting thing we found was this flowering bush.

Today we traveled 92 miles (148 kilometres). We are at N53.10828 E8.45900
