Monday 22nd May 2017

It had cleared up quite a bit by this morning and we could see what a beautiful place we were staying in.

Whichever way you look there are stunning views.

We even have a pair of Oyster Catchers keeping us company.

Anyway we reluctantly moved on.

We dropped in at Osen Fjord Camping and asked whether we could empty our toilet and fill up with fresh water. The very friendly campsite guardian pictured here not only agreed but refused to accept any money in return on the basis that ours was the first British registered vehicle he had seen this year. He did however say that had we been Germans he would have charged! Many thanks Osen Fjord Camping.

After buying groceries at the Co-op in Osen we stopped to look at this impressive waterfall not far further on route 715.

Further on down the road we spotted a moose or elg as they call them round here.

There turned out to be four of them altogether and further on down the road we saw a further two.

They didn't seem at all frightened of humans and as you can see from this picture were quite near to a house.

We stopped for the day at a rest area on route 17 near Overhalla. As you can see it is also a war memorial. Ann did some chores.

We got our bikes out and had a ride around. Despite this beware of mooses sign near our parking place we didn't see any more of them.

Today we traveled 64 miles (103 kilometres). We are at N64.48029 E11.86595
