Monday 8th May 2017

It was quite overcast, cold and windy this morning but it brightened up as the day went on. We took on LPG in Sunderlugum before leaving as it can be quite hard to come by in Scandinavia. We soon crossed from Germany into Denmark and traveled north before stopping fro a cup of tea in a wooded lay-by where we found this nice statue.

These appear to be giant wooden mushrooms.

We moved on to a heath land and woodland area near Billund where we stopped for the day. We did a bike ride and a walk. Here is a wetland area we walked through.

There were quite a few Galloway cattle hereabouts - far more than we ever saw when we visited Galloway!

We saw this large ant hill in the woods.

Also we walked along the side of this small river - there were lots of fish to be seen in it.

We are staying tonight in this nice quiet car park

Today we traveled 83 miles (134 kilometres). We are at N55.71751 E9.05135
