On Friday 2nd January after leaving Lesina we headed out east onto the Gargano Peninsula which is mostly a national park. We stopped for the night by the beach near to the town of Vigo del Gargano. You can see how near we were to the beach.

Here's our sea view. It's calmed down quite a lot in the last couple of days.

We went for a walk on the beach - here's Ann with two buoys.

There was a fine cliff at one end of the beach.

The beach cafe was closed and looked quite the worse for wear but people were still surviving there and they managed to extract 15 euros from us for the privilege of sharing their beach side for the night.
