Saturday 14th June 2025

There was clear blue sky when we left Riano this morning but as we travelled north it soon became overcast and drizzly.

We crossed a pass and descended into a gorge.

The gorge went on and on.

We stopped to take in the sights.

We met this dog who seemed to have lost his people.

A pole with stickers!? Do people leave stickers to mark their territory or just to record the fact that they've been here?

We stopped for the day at the Aire at Cangis de Onis.

I walked into town and did our washing at this laundrette.

Later on I took another walk into the town centre. This is the main square.

I bought some groceries and came back to the van along the river.

It rained this evening. All the reserved motorhome spaces were full leading to farcical situations like this where large vans try to squeeze into car sized parking spaces!

Today we travelled 42 miles (68 kilometres). We are at: N43.3530 W5.1251
