Our parking place on the Park boundary turned out to be anything but cool. This morning we were approached by the Polish Border Police who checked our personal the vehicle documents. Apparently there is a lot of people smuggling going on over the border from Belarus. Here are some typical local houses.

Today we made a long journey west and parked on the north bank of the river Wisla at the village of Czerwinsk nad Wisla.

Unlike most major European rivers there is no commercial shipping on the Wisla - just small boats. I presume this is because it is not possible to maintain a reasonably deep channel.

During the evening the priest, monks and organist from the village church and monastery held an impromptu service and boat blessing ceremony on the river bank by our parking place.

Very strange event!

Today we traveled 178 miles (287 kilometres).
