Monday 2nd May 2022
This morning we said goodbye to our new found British pals and headed for the Puy de Dome a 1400 metre high mountain just west of the city of Clermont Ferrand.
The Puy de Dome is the remains of an extinct volcano and there are many other similar "Puys" surrounding it.
In due course we got the train back down and returned to our van. We went into Clermont Ferrand and bought a few groceries.
We travelled further south and stopped for the day at the village of Tourzel-Ronzieres. Here's the view from our van.
The aire here consists of a number of terraces so everyone gets a good view (there is only one other van here tonight).
Today we travelled 75 miles (121 kilometres). We are at: N45.5300 E3.1345
